About Bee

 

Hello, I’m Bee—a mixed media artist creating from my cozy studio on the picturesque Mid North Coast, NSW.

 

Art has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I’ve explored everything from painting to sewing and just about every creative endeavor in between. In my early 20s, I took a leap into the business world, crafting handmade handbags to sell online and at local markets - a venture that sparked my love for building something uniquely my own.

 

But life has a way of keeping us busy, doesn’t it? For a long time, I found myself caught up in the daily grind, always assuming there’d be time for creativity "someday." That perspective shifted when I went on maternity leave. Suddenly, I realized just how quickly time flies.

 

So, I carved out a little space to paint—and it reignited my passion for making art. Before long, people started noticing, commissioning pieces, and buying my work. That’s when it clicked: the joy and purpose I’d been chasing were right here all along, waiting for me to pick up a brush.

 

Now, I spend time exploring the endless possibilities of mixed media, sharing my art with others, and feeling grateful for this creative path I get to call my own.
